To My Sisters: Don't Be Hatin'

This is not just a regular 50 dollar bill, this is a 50 dollar bill my dad gave me for "gas" money. You see this is special...I can't EVER remember my dad slipping me any money EVER!!!! He must really feel horrible that I'm a poor med student......really horrible.

My Parents Are In Town!

I love it when my parents come to town. It means free food. They're here for the furniture market and Uncle Jim, Aunt Margie, Cousin Pete and Libby joined them.

It's My Anniversary!!!

Ok, so it's really just my 6 month anniversary of living in Henderson, Nevada. I can't believe how fast it's gone! I feel like I've been here forever. It's been a great experience so far and I'm sure it will just get better.

Ethiopian Food???

My friend Janelle, who lives next door, has decided to start a "club" that eat a different ethnic food once a month. This month she chose Ethiopian food. I was confused I didn't think they had food in Ethiopia. I was bummed that I was unable to make the gathering as I had numerous amounts of anatomy material to digest.
